Think you have what it takes to be HOMELESS?

Join us Friday, June 6, 2008 at TELUS Field for the Youth Emergency Shelter Society’s annual Homeless for a Night fundraiser. This event is like no other - experience sleeping under the stars and learn about teen homelessness, all while raising funds for youth at risk. But you’ll have it easy...our homeless youth don’t get the perks! Some of these include:
  • A hearty dinner
  • Great entertainment
  • A toasty bonfire
  • Mats, cots or tents at bedtime
  • A delicious hot breakfast in the morning
Best of all, unlike many of today’s homeless youth, you won’t be alone. Homeless for a Night always brings new people together. It’s great for making new friends or business networking.

Homeless for a Night gives you the unique experience of being "homeless" at TELUS Field the evening on June 6 to the morning of June 7, 2008. Participants are expected to be available to stay overnight at TELUS Field and raise as much as possible through pledges to help YESS give youth at risk a chance. Depending on your pledge total, you may sleep on mats under the stars or on cots in army tents. You can also bring your own tent for Tent City.
