Join Dave Broderick, president of Trail Appliances, in his efforts to help youth at risk in
our community by becoming a Room Mate!
Dave is challenging corporate businesses in the Edmonton area to join him in purchasing a 1
year lease on a door at the Youth Emergency Shelter Society for a minimum of $1,000, and
become a Room Mate with the youth that utilize the services of YESS. By becoming a Room Mate,
you will assist teens between the ages of 16 and 19 year old to continue living in safety
rather than on the streets.
Half of the funds you donate will go towards refurbishing a bedroom, as well as other rooms
used by the kids. The other half will go towards operating costs for the Youth Emergency
Shelter Society. Once you become a Room Mate, your name will be engraved on a plaque and
placed on one of the doors in one of the Youth Emergency Shelter Society’ residences for
the year time period. At the end the year, you will be given the opportunity to renew it!
So, join Dave Broderick and the Youth Emergency Shelter Society in “giving youth at risk a
chance” and become a Room Mate today. Your support will help provide a safe place for youth
in our community while they are on their path to living self-sufficient lives and having a
chance at a more positive future.
