Big Hearts for Big Kids
Youth Emergency Shelter Society has recently made the decision to embark on a new project through the Edmonton Community Foundation. Big Hearts for Big Kids may evoke a sense of whimsy and fun, because, after all, we are all big kids, yet it is forward thinking legacy project to allow our donors to make financial gifts that are based on some strong values and focused on the future. These values may include the desire to leave a legacy or to help families, youth, our community and the Youth Emergency Shelter Society for many years to come.

Traditionally, this type of planned giving is associated with those relatively few, very wealth people who have been generous with support of hospitals, educational institutions, religious groups or other charitable agencies. Conversely, it may be associated with the crazy lady down the street who has no family, but a hundred cats, and leaves everything to her favorite cause in her will. These two extremes aside, careful financial planning is for everyone no matter what income. Wise choices and careful consideration of your finances can not only work for your future but, if you chose, it can also leave a legacy for YESS.

We are thankful for the interest, support and leadership that many have given over an amazing 25 years to make our organization the strong institution it is today. We ask that you include a gift to the Edmonton Community Foundation for the Big Hearts Big Kids legacy project which directly benefits YESS.
